- 資助國內專業人員出席國內外相關學術會議或出國進修。例如：亞太臨床毒物學大學學術研討會、北美臨床毒物學大會、歐洲臨床毒物學大會…。
- 每年固定舉辦或協辦相關醫學研討會。例如：華人健康平台、中毒急救研討會、工業衛生研討會、兩岸自然毒素研討會、臺北醫法論壇…。
- 促進兩岸學術交流活動。例如：安排大陸專業人員前來參加研討會、短期進修或本會組團前往參訪…。
- 邀請國外專業學者來台學術交流。
設置學術獎座
為獎勵中毒防治、毒癮戒治、環境職業病防治、化學物質安全等方面之傑出研究人材，以激發並鼓勵其研究之精進，造福社會，於1998年起設置「學術獎座」。

減肥菜造成健康危害事件之調查、自然毒素資料建檔計劃、濫用藥物之確認分析方法建立、毒藥物中毒急救解毒劑手冊製作計劃案、台灣本土毒蛇咬傷緊急處置快速查詢系統計畫、毒化災害緊急應變醫療救護標準作業程序、乙醯氨酚中毒個案研究計劃、Resveratrol保護心臟細胞對抗缺血再灌流損傷、探討醍醐飲（JCKD）用於治療單側輸尿管結紮小鼠引發慢性腎炎及纖維化之效果…。
社會推廣教育
本會有鑑於小兒中毒佔意外中毒之9成以上的比例，而大多數的意外中毒，其實是可以預防的。為求小兒中毒預防的目標達成，本會與台北榮民總醫院臨床毒藥物諮詢中心，共同努力開發有關兒童中毒預防親子動畫及手機遊戲－柏柏的冒險。另外，為配合時代的趨勢，本會也在臉書成立粉絲團，不定期轉貼相關用藥、食安等…最新訊息。
Exchanges and Visits
- Financially supported local professionals to attend related academic conferences within the country and abroad, or to further their studies abroad. For example, the Annual Congress Meetings of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Toxicology (APAMT), the North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT), the European Association of Poison Centers and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT) Congress, etc.
- Organized regular annual conferences or co-organize related medical seminars. For example, the Chinese Health Platform, Conference on Toxicological Emergencies, Seminar on Industrial Hygiene, Cross-Straits Conference on Natural Toxins, Taipei Forum on Medical Law, etc.
- Promoted cross-straits academic exchanges. For example, arrange for professionals from China to attend conferences or short-term studies in Taiwan, organize group visits to China, etc.
- Invited foreign professionals and scholars to visit Taiwan for academic exchanges.
Professional Education and Training
- Established the Academic Lecture series in 1998 to reward outstanding researchers in poisoning prevention, management of drug addictions, prevention of environmental and occupational diseases, chemical substances safety, etc, in order to encourage them to continue their efforts in improving the good of the society.

Public Promotion and Education
Poison prevention through animation, games, and social media We have found that 90 percent of all child poisoning incidents are accidents that can be easily prevented. To reach our pediatric poisoning prevention target, the Council and the Taipei Veterans General Hospital Clinical Poison Information Center have worked together to develop fun animated content ” Berney’s Adventures “, and mobile games that serve to educate parents and children on poison prevention. Additionally, we are launching a Facebook Fan page to provide concerned parents with regular news updates on the latest medical and food safety issues.
